The Dive

Do you need a buddy?

While you can dive with a buddy, it is not required for this dive

Diving solo is the best way to hunt for teeth and fossils

Is this a guided dive?

No, it is not a guided dive

On the boat, we give an overview of each dive site, draw a map, and answer any questions

We review navigation skills if needed

Do you limit bottom time?

No, there is no bottom time limit

Divers can dive until they reach 500 PSI

Dives typically last between 1 to 2+ hours, depending on air supply

What is the average depth of a fossil dive?

Most dives are around 28-30 ft

Our shallowest spots are about 12 ft and the deepest around 39 ft

What is the visibility like?

This is a low visibility dive

Average visibility is 6-10 ft; some days may be 20+ ft, others lower

We do not dive when visibility is less than 3-5 ft

What kind of boat will we be diving from?

We use a 26ft World Cat

Before the Dive

Do you have rental gear available?

Yes, rental gear is available upon request

Please arrange this with the crew beforehand

How far in advance do you recommend booking our dives?

Weekends: 2-3 months in advance

Weekdays: 1-2 months in advance

Last minute bookings may occur with cancellations; larger parties should book early
